Mikey Rap, Photography Co-President

Hey Guys, I’m a final year student studying Wildlife Conservation as so as you may have guessed, my favorite type of photography is Wildlife/Animal Photography. Having said that, through being a part of the this society for the past 2 years I have discovered a similar passion for People / Fashion Photography. My job here is to help you understand your camera a little more, whether is is a simple point and shoot or a Digital SLR. Do not hesitate to come to me if you have any photography related questions, or any other issues you may come across during your time at Uni.

Alison Begeman, Photography Vice-President

Hi! I’m a second year student studying law. I’ve been interested in photography my whole life, and got my first DSLR in June 2007. Since then I have experimented with many types of photography and discovered that all aspects interest me. Currently I am working for the University of Kent, and much of my work is featured in their student recruitment brochures. As I am completely self-taught, I understand the difficulties that many new and budding photographers go through, so should you have any questions relating to photography, shoot me an e-mail and I’ll do my best to help you out!

Hey!  I’m a second year student, studying Visual and Performed Arts. I have a keen interest in fashion and modelling, which is why I have come to have this role. My aim is to strive to make a difference, boosting your confidence, and making people feel and look fantastic. I’m bubbly and chatty and on hand to listen to any queries or ideas you may have. I am also aiming to raise awareness to the less fortunate, choosing to support Banardo’s, a children’s charity. If you have any questions, never hesitate to contact me.

Hey guys! I’m a second year studying English Lit and Drama. I got involved with the Fashion Show last year and really enjoyed the experience since I met lots of cool people and got to dress up! I signed up to the Photography and Modelling Society because it is a fun and safe environment in which people can learn from each other and have a laugh. Being Secretary is a great job, so look out for my emails!!

Egle Saviciute, Treasurer

Hi! I’m a second year student at UKC studying Psychology with Italian. Although I am new to the society, last year I got a chance to find out more about it and it seemed to be a lot of fun. I especially wanted to get involved with the Fashion Show and similar events. I have always been interested in fashion designers and shows. I also enjoy art and I am very keen to learn more about photography. I am a friendly and approachable person, so feel free to contact me with any questions.
